Maximum Axialspiel laut HKS - 0,2mm
The mounting location of the dial gauge does not have any problem.
The method for measurement doesn't turn wheel, you have to measure the play the thrust direction.
Specifically , You push Comp-WHL on the Turb-WHL side and read the indicator of the dial gauge.
Next, you push Turb-WHL on the Comp-WHL side and read the indicator of the dial gauge.
It becomes axial play when you add these two numerical value.
In the case of GT2 7460 , the maximum is 0.2mm.
In ball bearing, by structural relations, it is impossible to precisely measure a radial play after assembling.
Quick and easy method, you put a turbocharger so that a shaft becomes level and move it to both sides up and down having the tip of the wheels.
If the wheels of both sides does not interfere it then, It does not have any problem.
In addition , the play becomes big if there is little oil .
Therefore, after you fill oil into the turbocharger, you measure axial play, and please confirm whether there is not a problem .
After that, if the wheel is out of contact with the housing, it is OK.
Wegen der Öl sagt er:
About the oil seal , I guess that it is too much quantity of oil from engine.
Therefore, you try to squeeze quantity of the oil using an orifice.
