    JDM lovers.

The first beautiful days of the year are behind us already and summer is coming up quick finally.
In our lovely car scene this means events, meetings, trackdays, shows and action on the roads, the beginning of a wonderful auto(sport) season.

After a year of vacation it's finally time again, a brand new edition of the 'JDM Imports' meet'n'greet.
A great meeting which guaranteed for 270 all time JDM cars at one place at the same time.

Sorry post this meeting this late on the board, because I know there are some German freaks who visited our meetings before.
This meeting is located in the middle of the Netherlands on a great parking place with a Starbucks Coffe, Burger King, AC restaurant.
    Parking is free.

During this day it all comes together, from Glanza to NSX, LHD and RHD, white and black, FWD-RWD-4WD, stock or boosted. We are all family.
If you have the time and are willing to drive a while, this is one of the meetings you need to visit.
The only thing you need to bring is yourself, a good vibe and your machine!

Visit our Facebook page also in the link above.

Thanks for your time and hopefully see you the 21th of June!

    Denny (RC Power).

I will post this in English, because it's much easier for me and for you to understand. Hope you don't mind.

A couple of years ago a good friend of mine moved tho the Filipines with his wife and have a new future there.
This guy owned 2 great Mitsubishi's in the past. First of all a well specced Eclipse 2GS-T and after he sold it he bought a Lancer Evo III.
Both of the cars were black.

He sold both of the cars to German people and after that haven't seen them anymore.
Now is my question if somebody does know if these cars are still running and maybe even know the owner of them.

The Eclipse was a very nice ride. Engine wasn't stock anymore, around 300 BHP, semi slick front tyres etc etc.

The Evo III came out of England. Was a showcar from a company.
Evo 9 interior in there, overall good condition and a nice engine, never had it on the dyno but the thing was quite quick.

These cars have to be somewhere.
I think it's about 4 years ago for the Evo III (almost bought it myself) and about 5-6 years ago he sold the Eclipse.

Does somebody know anything about the cars or owners?
Would love to hear from them or see some pictures.

    Thanks!

    Evo friends,

The end of 2012 is coming near already. One year is flying by and everyone is looking back to it in different ways.
But as a matter of fact, a lot of nice thing has happened.

We as the Dutch Lancer Evo Club have a tradition every year, which is this meeting and we want to share it with you guys also.

On LEC (Lancer Evo Club) area 2012 had some good things, many new members has joined our community in the past year. A good thing, because the Evo Club is growing and socializing is important here.

What will be nicer to kick off 2013 in a good way with the new edition of the Evo newyears meet'n'greet?
As we know these meetings are symbol for cosiness, socializing, make new contacts, watching Evo's, new inspriations and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot choco!

When and where is the only question to ask now?

    Date: Sunday 13 January 2013.
    Time: From 13.00 hour.
    Place: AC Restaurant Meerkerk
    Energieweg 116
    Meerkerk.

Indeed, this is another location as we all are used to. New round, new changes and refreshing also. So let's give it a shot!
This is a central location in Holland, not to far from Utrecht and directly near the highway.
This location does have an AC Restaurant with a Mac Donalds and a Starbucks Coffee.
It is easy to find, just beside the highway and a nice parking with enough place.

Last year this meeting had at least 30 Evo's and some other machines, which was looking lovely, but we believe this can do better.
So we would love to see our Belgium friends back again and this year maybe some of the German Evo's, that would be great!!

Also there will be a photographer this day which will make excellent pictures of the coming cars.
    So get your Evo out!

So with this invite we would love to see you guys next year and enjoy!

I went for a set of Rota Grid Drifts in 8.5 x 17" bij ET 30.

They are matt bronze, really nice.

I've used Toyo R888's in 225/45/17 and they are not even stretched at all. So perfect match for a lovely set of wheels, which will fill up the arches fine without any spacers.

Why is that? I didn't heard any bad story's about Ultralite.

The Grids are really nice wheels indeed. But I can't go 9,5J, because I have semi slicks already in 225 and don't want to go stretched.

So think it will be 8,5J.

Well, I don't want to spend more than 1.000 euro's, because it will be my trackday wheels.

So could buy Work wheels or something like that, but it's not worth it for me.

I'm looking for new wheels for my 6. My requirements are 17", bronze and pretty lightweight.

I've found 2 wheels which are quite nice, Ultralite D1 or Rota Grids

    Ultralite comes in 17" x 8.0 with offset 32.

    Rota comes in 17" x 8.5 with offset 30.

And there are these new XXR 527 wheels which looks pretty nice, but I'm afraid they are bad wheels. Low cost.

Which wheels would you guys prefer, looking at the wheel and sizes?

Sorry guys, I do this in English, because that's a lot easier for me.

I was wondering if somebody has axperience with XXR wheels.

Those wheels looks fine to me and I know in UK they use them a lot on the X's, but I was wondering on an 5 or 6.

They've some nice wheels in their program though.

If you know some, please tell.

    Some of my old cars:

    Mitsubishi Colt GLXI 1995:

Special painted orange / black with pearl flakes
    16" painted BSA Cobra's
    custom exhaust system
    etc. etc.

    Mitsubishi Colt Mivec 1995:

Original a 1.6 16V GLXI. First I wanted to put a 4G63 in it, but than I luckily finded a Mivec engine in Japan. Well, that was a nice plan and one of a kind over here, so bought it. That was an A/T, so pulled that off and installed a GTI gearbox behind it. Some upgrade parts and it run.
Lovely engine, 175 BHP stock with 8850 RPM, above 5200 RPM Mivec kicks in.
    Was my trackday car.
Totally stripped, 15" lightweight wheels, fully braced, custom made Koni suspension, black clear headlights from a Proton, Mivec wing, OMP bucket seats, 4-points harnasses, totally custom made 2,5 inch exhaust and so on and so on.
Was a real nice thing on track, popped many eyes out.

    Honda Civic EK3:

Green Rota Grids, Spoon exhaust (fully open), fully stripped and braced, Type R lips and lights (original), Spoon spoiler, KW suspension and a lot more.
